Boulder City, Nevada recently took delivery of
'London Bridge'. This beautiful sculpture series
depicts four carefree children playing the game
of the same name. The city of Boulder added the
captivating 'London Bridge' series to its permanent
collection as a continuance of a City redevelopment
agency sponsored project to share the City's unique
history with visitors. 'London Bridge' is the fourth
sculpture that is being displayed as part of this
program. A permanent location for Trueblood's 'London
Bridge' is directly at the front entrance of City
Hall.
Several other Trueblood original bronzes; 'Hitchin'
a Ride', 'Mary, Mary', and 'Little Explorer' can
be seen throughout the City of Boulder City as part
of the Art Scape program. Art Scape is a unique
outdoor sculpture exhibit, located in Old Town Boulder
City. The exhibit hosts a variety of artwork, introducing
visitors to several artistic medias. This is the
second annual exhibit expressing the community's
recognition of the arts and is a contribution factor
in the promotion of the arts.
